“This unit needed to be assembled , but it was very easy, which as a woman I find refreshing. Just follow the instructions step by step. The only confusion ws installing the extensions, so, when putting on the extensions, put the clamp bracket screws into the brackets first and hold them in place on the underside of the saw, then insert the extensions and you’ll beable to screw them in snugly. When I checked the accuracy of the fence , blade, and laser they were dead on! UNLIKE the cheaper model #21229 (don’t buy that one!, you’ll regret it as I did. and will be replacing molding becuase nothing is callibrated correctly) This unit cut like butter , was fairly quiet and the cut was extremely smooth and perfect. It also has the feature of removing the legs and storing them in the stand top, and also a sliding fence for greater control. I would recommend this to everyone who is a DIY’er and seeks perfection as I do. With an entire house to put base and crown molding up, my project will be easy, quick, and perfect with little to no puttying.
